January 2007.  Only 28 years old, Chef David Gilbert is considered one of the impressive young chefs around. He serves as executive chef for LuQa in Dallas, Texas. Like most chefs, Chef Gilbert's love for all things culinary began when he was very young, but he honed his skills in the kitchen and formal education. He attended Johnson and Wales University.
